India's Corona virus lockdown affected poor citizens:

India has been put in lockdown to halt the spread of the coronav outbreak. People have been told to stay indoors, but for many daily-wage earners this is not an option.

Millions of other daily-wage earners are in a similar situation. The lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday evening means they are now facing no prospect of income for the next three weeks. The likelihood is, some will run out of food in the coming days.
India has increasingly been struggling to cope as it enforces the world's  largest corona virus lockdown. The entire population 1.3bn people have been told to stay at home for at least three weeks with the prime minister telling Indians to forget what going out means.
NarendraModi has ordered the closure of all non - essential business and the measure have hit millions of low paid & migrant the hardest.

The whole India is affected as so many countries are affected by this disease. As stated by affected by citizens we have no work no means to earn we are somehow managing with whatever food is given to us, we are disturbed as everyone else.
Suddenly out of work many have had to queue for hours in unsanitary conditions to receive food aid from the government.
As per Ramanan Laxminarayan from Princeton University we can't do what the us did or what china certainly did in our country, a lockdown is actually probably difficult because there are people who have to go to work and you know put food on the table. Maybe India does not have the luxury of a lockdown.
Police have been filmed hitting people with sticks and using exercise as a form of punishment for violating lockdown measures.
Another citizen who is suffering from this said that company shut down on 21 March our landlords threw us out, said they won't let us stay as the company is shutting down for three months they said how will we pay our rent and asked us to leave it's been three days. That's why we had to leave it's been three days, we have been walking with children. We are in lot of trouble. Unable to self - isolate in cramped housing some are even sleeping in trees. The doctor directed us to stay at home and practice social distancing. We don't have out own rooms at home. It was decided in the village we should be isolated.
We are living on and under the tree out of our own free will and we are doing well here.
